Eyebrow Mapping

Three lines derived from your own nose wing, eye corners and iris, drawn on your own photo: brow head, arch and tail. Beside them, the brow you actually have, with the gap in pixels.

Where should my brows start, arch and end?

For the free scan your photo is processed on your device and is never uploaded, stored, sold, or used to train AI. The optional AI styling concepts included in a paid report are the only exception, and need a separate, explicit consent on the report page. Only numeric scores are kept for 2 hours, then deleted. Re-drawing into a canvas strips EXIF (including GPS).

What this measures

Three guide lines, your own brow

Brow head, arch and tail are three straight lines from the nose wing through named eye landmarks, extended to brow height. The actual brow is traced beside them so the gap is visible rather than implied.

Example drawn on an AI-generated portrait. Your own read draws the same layer over your photo, locally — the image is never uploaded.

Short answer: Three lines derived from your own nose wing, eye corners and iris, drawn on your own photo: brow head, arch and tail. Beside them, the brow you actually have, with the gap in pixels. Those three lines are a styling convention, not a rule about your face. Hair, not bone, is the only thing that moves.

How this eyebrow mapping works

You choose a clear, front-facing photo. The image is drawn into a canvas inside your browser, resized, and its metadata stripped — no copy is uploaded, stored or sent to a server. The 478-point face model is loaded on your device (about 15 MB, once, cached) and returns normalised coordinates. Everything after that is coordinate arithmetic: midpoints, distances, a straight line between two points. There is no language model, no image generation, no API call and no per-use token cost.

StepWhat actually runs
Find the landmarksThe 478-point model gives us the nose wing, the inner and outer eye corners, the iris rim and the upper edge of each brow. Everything below is arithmetic on those coordinates.
Draw the three classic guide linesBrow head: from the nose wing through the inner corner. Arch: from the nose wing through the outer iris rim. Tail: from the nose wing through the outer corner. Each line is extended up to brow height and drawn on your photo.
Trace the brow you already haveTen points along each brow upper edge are sampled and drawn as a second line, so you can see the real brow beside the convention rather than a diagram of an ideal face.
Report the gap, not a gradeFor each of the three points we print the distance between the guide line and your brow in pixels, plus a left/right difference. No score, no ranking, no "ideal" label.

What the numbers mean

Each gap is printed in pixels and as a share of that eye’s width. A large gap just means your brow does not follow the classic guide — it is a description of a line on a photo, not a problem to fix.

Limits, honestly

LimitWhat it means here
A convention, not anatomyThe three lines come from a styling tradition used in brow shaping. They are not a measurement of where a brow "should" grow, and faces that ignore them are not defects.
One photo, one expressionRaised brows, a smile, a tilted head or a fringe over the brow all move the traced line. Lighting and lens height move it too.
Hair is the only editable partWe talk about grooming, not procedures. This site never recommends surgery, fillers, injectables or permanent cosmetic work.
No aesthetic verdictThere is no score on this page and no ranking of brow shapes.

Why this is free and stays free

A coordinate calculation costs us nothing per run, so there is no reason to blur it, gate it behind an email, or wrap it in a subscription. The optional reports are a separate one-off purchase about photo presentation and dating decisions — they are not needed to read anything on this page.

Tips for a more consistent read

  1. Use a recent, front-facing, well-lit solo photo with your whole face visible.
  2. Face a window; avoid overhead light and harsh direct sun.
  3. Keep the camera at eye level and at arm's length or further, with no wide-angle distortion.
  4. Keep your brows uncovered, your expression neutral, and your hair off the brow line.
  5. Retake in the same light and distance if you want to compare two readings.

What this tool does not do

It does not rate you, rank you, predict matches, estimate your age or ethnicity, or make any medical, dermatological or ophthalmological claim. Entertainment & self-insight only. Not medical, psychological, or dermatological advice. No procedures, surgery, fillers or injectables are recommended anywhere on this site.

The complete formula, weights and limitations are public: See exactly how the score is calculated. If we can't measure it honestly, we say so — before you pay.

Frequently asked questions

Is the eyebrow mapping really free?

Yes. No account, no email gate, no blurred result, no card. It is pure geometry computed on your device, so there is no per-use cost to pass on. The optional reports are separate one-off purchases ($12.90 / $17.90), never a subscription.

Is my photo uploaded or stored?

Your photo is processed on your device. It is never uploaded, stored, sold, or used to train AI. Free scans leave no image behind — everything happens on your device. Only numeric scores are kept for 2 hours, then deleted. The 478-point model is downloaded to your browser; your photo never leaves it. Re-drawing the image into a canvas also strips EXIF metadata, including location.

Does this use AI or a language model?

The face landmark model runs locally in your browser with WebAssembly. It is a fixed coordinate detector, not a generative model: no prompt, no API call, no cloud inference and no token spend. The result is midpoints, distances and lines drawn with canvas arithmetic.

Should I reshape my brows to match the three lines?

That is entirely your call. The lines are a styling convention, not a rule about your face, and the tool deliberately prints no score and no "ideal" label. If you do change anything, keep it to hair and grooming — we never recommend procedures, fillers or injectables.

Why is my brow not on the guide lines?

Most brows are not. Natural brows vary in thickness, arch position and tail length, and a single photo adds expression, angle and framing. The gap is printed as a description of this photo, not a correction to make.

What if the 478-point model does not load?

We say so instead of inventing a number. This tool needs real landmarks; if the model is unavailable (offline, WASM blocked, no face found) you will see a plain explanation and can retry. We never fall back to a guessed measurement.

What can I do with the result?

Copy the summary, compare two photos taken the same way, or move on to the free Attractiveness Test and Eye Shape Detector. Nothing on this page requires the paid reports.
